Queer-Owned // Woman-Owned // LGBTQIA+ INCLUSIVE WEDDING VENDOR

As the director of Inclusive Kentucky Weddings, I'm committed to making the wedding industry more welcoming, affirming, and equitable. Through ongoing education, personal activism, and cultivating a supportive community of professionals, I am to create an environment where everyone feels valued and celebrated for exactly who they are.

I take immense joy in collaborating with other LGBTQIA+ couples and individuals from any background. I wholeheartedly embrace diversity and do not discriminate based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or ability. Additionally, I prioritize body positivity and am mindful of maintaining accurate skin tones in my editing process.

With nearly 300 weddings photographed over the last decade, my work has been featured in over 50 publications, and I've been honored as The Knot's Best of Weddings Pick for KY for ten years. If you're curious about what past couples have said about their experience working with me, you can find their reviews on The Knot.

I can't explain how surreal and amazing it is to wake up each morning and have the career I've always wanted... all because wonderful folks like you allow me to photograph your love. So thank you for literally making my dreams come true every single day by inviting me along to document your journey.

Outside of photographing weddings, you can find me:

  • fussing over my 200+ houseplants

  • putting the b & q in LGBTQ+, loving on my wife Joyce, & using she/they pronouns

  • exploring new hobbies such as pottery & natural dyes

  • revisiting old hobbies like crocheting & baking sourdough bread

  • gardening, foraging wild plants, and cooking for friends

  • quickly devouring sci-fi and fantasy novels, while slowly savoring non-fiction reads

  • staying civically engaged & promoting inclusivity in the wedding industry

A little background on how I got here: At the age of 11, I stepped into a darkroom for the first time and instantly knew that photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. By 16, I was fully immersed in the industry, working at a studio and refining my skills in post-production and editing. At 18, after completing every photography class my school offered, I had the opportunity to photograph my art teacher's sister's wedding—and something just clicked. I realized that what truly resonated with me in photography was documenting the connections between everyone around me. This realization prompted me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Louisville, all while continuing to photograph weddings. Today, I still love capturing the relationships around me just as much as when I first started, and I would be honored to document your story.
